Echo Planet
Project Overview
Echo Planet is a fictional brand created for a 4D Animation class project, centered around the theme of space and exploration. I designed the brand logo and developed a full logo reveal animation, using a hand-drawn, frame-by-frame style to create a sense of energy and motion that mimics the repetition and fading movement of an echo. The final animation introduces Echo Planet as a vibrant, imaginative brand rooted in cosmic storytelling.
Challenge
I wanted to create a frame-by-frame animated logo reveal that felt dynamic, cohesive, and visually aligned with the brand’s concept. I needed to develop a style that captured the idea of sound and motion traveling through space, while maintaining a hand-crafted, energetic feel.
Solution
I began by designing the Echo Planet logo, incorporating vibrant colors, playful textures, and layered graphic elements to evoke the atmosphere of a dreamlike galaxy. Each asset — including stars, planets, moons, and background bursts — was illustrated by hand to give the piece a tactile, organic quality.
The constant movement and vibrant transitions reinforce the concept of echoes traveling through the universe, giving the logo reveal an energetic feel.
